Welcome

Come in, sit down and enjoy yourself. Smell the burning sage, as we tell you of all the things that are happening with us on and off the reservation.
I would like to start off by saying if this is your first time visiting our site; we welcome you and are honored by your visit. If you are returning, you will notice a few changes. We hope you enjoy browsing through.
Our purpose for this web site is two fold. First is to share our ministry with you and the message of Jesus Christ in whom we place our faith. Second is to share the message of Native American and First Nations People (Canada) with you. Some will find what we say to be offensive or strange, while others will understand and wish to learn more. It is our goal to open the eyes of white and indigenous people around the world to the fact that God is real, He has a son that was born to give His life for the sins of the world and that there is also a Holy Spirit that is sent to all, to lead, comfort and to be an intercessor in our prayers.
Native American and First Nations People have been wronged in so many ways. Through stealing of land to the way the message of the Gospel was, and still is, presented. One of the things that I find Funny is that missionaries have told Native people that to become Christian they must worship God in the manner of white people. They have used the scripture, “the old things have passed away and all things become new”. So why is it when white people turn there life to God and become Christians, that they do not become Indian? This is said not to offend, but to show the silliness of what has been taught through the centuries.
In this site we wish to show what is happening to Native American and First Nations people still today. The cares, worries, cultures and opinions of the Indigenous people here in North America. We wish to show how some of the traditions and stories align with the Bible scriptures and prophecies.
Some of my studies were done at a Black Southern Baptist seminary. Why? Because, of the closeness to my home and because they taught the Bible in an ethnic setting that provided a good firm foundation for our ministry. Some of my studies included the history of the Black church and Black church planting. So what does that have to do with Indigenous people?
To answer that we must first wonder, why did the slaves embrace the message of Jesus Christ through their hardships and most Native American people have not?
These are the things
that we will be addressing through this site. Telling of the false teaching
brought to the Indigenous people, how we might be able to correct the problems
and teaching the things through culture. We will share our desire to help the
elders on the reservation with repair of their homes and the work that is being
accomplished. We will share our ministry needs along with the needs of the
people. We will also post things that are happening such as powwows and other
events. We will post articles that are important to Native people and provide an
insight to Indigenous life at the same time. But above all we will share what
God is doing in our life, ministry and the world around us.
Even if you are not indigenous you can still learn of the red road. Come, join
the journey.
