Everyone who is born has a God given purpose assigned to his or her life. For me I feel most at ease when I have the opportunity to teach and most of all, in a causal setting. In my teaching I do not like to stay on the surface but love to go deep, and yes I am a licensed diver. I am a Christian and love to study the scriptures, not just study, but explore who wrote them, why they felt the need to write, what was happening to them when they where writing, and who were they writing to and what is the cultural view that they are writing from. But, before I do any of that I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me to the real truth.
One course study that I have taken is Theology, which means, “study of God”, this course was not about God at all, but what other people have studied, what they believed, and their opinions. I discourage people from taking this course of study unless they really know and understand what they believe. Their arguments become rather convincing and without a firm foundation a person can quickly become confused.
So what is my purpose in writing this and why do I call it rambling. The last part you should already know by now. If it wasn’t for my wonderful wife who reads what I write and then makes correction and shortens what I say this might go on forever and you may get lost in that place of no return. I would like to show or explore the views of Native Americans, Christians, and others combined to form an “idea” of what is correct. I believe that most people form their opinions on very little information. Each month I would like to ramble on from one topic to another, gathering information about that topic from several different sources. One must keep in mind that these sources may be somebody’s opinion of a topic and not necessarily correct. There is an old saying hindsight is 20-20. Is this saying correct? Why no, because when looking back at what has happen or what someone else has done, it is viewed in our opinion. There can never be a true answer of what should have really taken place to have what we would call a more positive outcome. So after my rambling again, to state my real purpose, it is to bring into light who God really is to me, what is happening to the world and what might happen. Please join me as I ramble and feel free to e-mail me with your questions. I will try to answer as many as my time permits. When e-mailing please put in the subject box “Rambling”, if it goes to the Spam I will know to retrieve it.
